Spill Prevention Planning
  Services

The goal of the oil pollution prevention regulation in the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (40 CFR Part 112) is to prevent oil discharges from reaching navigable waters of the United States or adjoining shorelines. This is accomplished through the implementation of Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.

AARC has completed SPCC plans for plants and facilities of all sizes. With over fifteen years experience providing SPCC plans in compliance with the current regulations, AARC has prepared over two hundred and fifty SPCC plans for clients in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and New Mexico. In the last two years alone, AARC professionals have completed over one hundred plans for companies such as International Paper and Rubbermaid.

Our standard SPCC Plan begins with a comprehensive site evaluation, assessing containment structures, researching site security and material handling procedures. This is followed by personnel training and ensuring that appropriate cleanup procedures are in place. Throughout the process, an AARC environmental professional works closely with facility management and staff to make certain that plan requirements are clear. AARC specialists are always available for amendment certifications and other consultations.
